Kinos Safaris offers fixed 4-hour and 8-hour snowmobile rental periods in Levi. A 4-hour rental is available from 09:00 to 13:00 or from 13:00 to 17:00. The 8-hour rental runs from 09:00 to 17:00. The right choice depends on how much of your day you want to reserve for riding and how comfortable you are planning an independent trip on marked trails.
Both options include one equipment set and driving instructions. Fuel is excluded, every driver must show a valid driving licence, and independent renters must remain on marked official snowmobile trails.
How do the rental periods and prices compare?
| Rental option | Time | Premium price | Superior price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Morning rental | 09:00–13:00 | €199 | Confirm with Kinos Safaris |
| Afternoon rental | 13:00–17:00 | €199 | Confirm with Kinos Safaris |
| Full-day rental | 09:00–17:00 | €260 | €380 |
Premium one-seat and two-seat snowmobiles share the same published prices. The 8-hour Premium option costs €61 more than the 4-hour option. Superior is published only as an 8-hour rental and has a minimum age of 25.
The phrase “full day” refers to the 8-hour period from 09:00 to 17:00. It is not a 24-hour rental. Multi-day rentals are available by individual quotation if you need a machine beyond the standard daily periods.
When is a 4-hour rental the better choice?
A 4-hour booking fits neatly into either the morning or afternoon. It leaves part of the day available for skiing, dining or another booked activity. It can also be a practical option when you already understand snowmobile controls and want a defined amount of independent trail time.
You should plan conservatively. Kinos Safaris does not publish a typical 4-hour distance or a list of guaranteed destinations. Your progress depends on the trail, conditions, breaks and your own pace. Choose a route that allows you to return comfortably by 13:00 or 17:00.
The published rental allowance is 200 kilometres per day, but no separate 4-hour allowance is stated. Ask us how the allowance applies to your booking if you expect mileage to influence your plans.
When is the 8-hour rental the better choice?
The 8-hour period gives you more time for riding, breaks and refuelling without dividing the day around another activity. It may suit experienced independent riders who want a longer day and are comfortable reading the trail map and managing their schedule.
More time does not remove the need for careful route planning. You must stay on marked official trails, monitor fuel and allow enough time to return the machine by 17:00. Fuel is not included, and a refuelling point is available at the Safari House.
All named models are examples. Premium may be booked with one or two seats, while Superior is a one-seat category. If seating or power matters more than duration, compare the categories before deciding.
Book the rental period that fits your holiday
Choose four hours for a focused morning or afternoon ride. Choose eight hours when snowmobiling will be the main activity of your day. If this is your first time and independent navigation feels like too much responsibility, a beginner-friendly guided safari may be a more comfortable introduction.
Check current 4-hour and 8-hour snowmobile availability and reserve the period that works best for your stay in Levi.
