We offer long-distance expeditions from the two-day Super300 Hetta to the five-day Super1000 Arctic Ocean. We classify every route as challenging, every participant drives their own snowmobile and good physical condition is required. Pack for repeated riding days, not just one cold morning.
What clothing should you pack?
Use a simple three-layer system: a moisture-managing base layer, an insulating mid-layer and the protective outer gear confirmed for your safari. Merino wool and technical synthetic materials are practical because they move moisture away from the skin and continue to insulate better than cotton when damp.

- Thin glove liners and a spare pair
- A fitted balaclava or neck warmer

Avoid cotton base layers, jeans and bulky items that restrict movement beneath snowmobile clothing. Cotton absorbs moisture and becomes uncomfortable when riding stops and your body cools.

We offer the Super safaris as all-inclusive packages. Because the exact gear and arrangements can vary by route, ask us for the complete itemised equipment list for your expedition. Do not assume that the package is identical to a daily safari or independent rental.
Before travelling, ask us to confirm:
- which thermal outerwear, helmet, gloves and boots are supplied;
- whether goggles or other eye protection are included;
- how much personal luggage can be transported;
- whether luggage moves separately between overnight stops;
- which toiletries, towels and sauna items are available;
- what meals, snacks and drinks are included each day.
This is not unnecessary caution. The Hetta, Galdotieva, Kilpisjärvi and Arctic Ocean routes have different durations and overnight patterns, so a route-specific packing list is more valuable than a generic promise.
How much luggage should you bring?
Pack lightly and prioritise items that can be used more than once. Large suitcases and unnecessary valuables add complexity to a moving expedition. Ask us for the permitted luggage format before arrival, because luggage dimensions, weight limits and transport arrangements may depend on your route.
